Carlow Kilkenny
I will be running as a candidate for the General Elections in Carlow/Kilkenny for the Irish Freedom Party
I am a mother of 2 children and I live in Carlow. This country is changing fast and we need people to stand up for what is right and especially speak up for the most vulnerable in our society, including our children.
Our children need a secure future where they can afford to buy a house and not feel the need to emigrate. We are facing one of the worst housing crisis ever, and proper solutions desperately need to be found. I want a safe and protected future for all of our children.
I will stand up and fight for special needs services and assessments and also mental health services which are greatly needed!
We need lower tax on workers especially young people to get them on the housing ladder. Higher tax on vulture funds to push them out of the housing market.
Thereby, taking back control by the Irish People of our law-making, our citizenship, our currency, our trade policy, our borders and immigration policy, our taxation and budget policy, our sea-fisheries and marine resources, our human rights under the Irish Supreme Court, our foreign and security policy and maintaining a meaningful military neutrality.
I will campaign for strictly controlled immigration so that our streets will be safer and our children have a chance of obtaining a home and better paid job.
I’ll seek to lower employer PRSI for small Irish firms employing less than 20 Irish citizens to encourage more jobs for Irish workers.
We need to stop answering to Europe this is our country and our laws. We need to stop the wasteful government spending and mismanagement of monies.
We need to seriously focus on our health system, which is on it’s knees. With such a growing population, we need to greatly improve our services.
We want to have people in power who will listen to the people and genuinely care about their needs. We need sensible policies that will make a difference in every person’s life.
We want to see a bigger and brighter future for Ireland.
I am heavily involved in volunteer work, including charity coffee mornings, fundraising events and especially animal rescue which holds a very special place in my heart.
I will also be fully supporting the introduction of a “Dedicated Garda Animal Welfare Unit”.
