Victoria Byrne
Fingal EastMy name is Victoria Byrne and I’m the Irish Freedom Party candidate for Fingal East.
I am from north Dublin city and I have family in the Fingal East constituency. I moved to France when I was a child and lived near Paris, where I did my studies and worked for various companies. I moved back to Ireland in 2016 and worked in a business management company.
I also volunteer for local charities for animals and homeless people. I care very much about our most forgotten and vulnerable people in society and want to be their voice. I believe we must all do our part. And together we can make that change.
I especially want to fight to help the homeless. We currently have 14,421 homeless people in Ireland, amongst them, over 4,000 children. I’ve seen and experienced this problem in action.
We can protect our elders by bringing back our nurses and doctors who are abroad and also affected by the housing crisis. We must take care of our own. Tackling long waiting lists for hospital appointments and access to medical treatments for children with specific needs and adults is a must. I will work for faster access to better mental health services as our country is in a crisis and needs better resources for proper mental health diagnosis and treatment.
We must work to save our hospitality industry whose hotels are being taken over by a flood of economic immigration which is destroying a once thriving sector of our economy.
Let’s make Ireland safe again.
